Privacy Notice
This notice explains data processing related to visits, blog interactions and newsletter subscription requests on the Solo Plant corporate website. Membership, order and payment transactions in the online shop are subject to the privacy notice for those transactions. Reading this notice does not constitute explicit consent.
1. Data controller
Data controller and website operator: Solo Plant Süs Bitkileri Üretim ve Pazarlama Limited Şirketi. Address: Bahçelievler Mah. Bahçeli 104 Sok. No:2 Merkez / Yalova. Email: shop@soloplant.com. Telephone: +90 549 770 7656. Registered electronic mail (KEP): soloplant@hs09.kep.tr.
2. Newsletter subscription requests
The confirmation page may record your full name, email verification time and separate email preference. These records support subscription and withdrawal requests. The administration area is restricted to the site owner. Confirmation links are single-use and time-limited; withdrawal links are intended for withdrawing your preference.
A connection to euromsg express / Hedef Medya Tanıtım İnteraktif Medya Pazarlama A.Ş. is being prepared. Automatic sending and subscriber transfer are not yet enabled. Once activated, necessary contact and permission records will be shared with this provider for delivery and the relevant IYS permission process. The service will not be enabled until applicable processing and transfer conditions are met.
We collect the email address you provide, two separate preferences, the time of the request, and the displayed statements and their versions. Your email address and preferences are processed under Article 5(1) of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK), based on the explicit consent you give for assessing your subscription request. Evidence of preferences and protection of rights are assessed under Article 5(2)(ç) and (e), where their conditions are met.
The newsletter form creates only a subscription request; it does not automatically confirm email verification or an active permission for commercial messages. Email verification, the necessary commercial communication consent and IYS procedures are completed separately before sending. This form does not obtain permission for channels other than email. Not making a request does not affect website use or shopping.
You may withdraw your preference by writing to shop@soloplant.com. Records awaiting approval are not included in the active mailing list. Requests and preference records are retained only as long as necessary for their purpose; when the purpose and any independent statutory retention grounds end, they are deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
3. Blog comments and likes
When submitting a comment, we collect your chosen display name, comment, related article, submission time and technical visitor identifier. The display name and comment are published publicly. You may use a nickname; do not include contact details, identity information or special-category personal data in your comment.
Article 5(2)(c) of the KVKK applies to fulfilling your request to publish a comment; Article 5(2)(f) applies to proportionate legitimate interests in preventing abuse while balancing rights and freedoms; Article 5(2)(e) applies to protecting legal claims. Like preferences are linked to a technical visitor identifier; that identifier is not displayed publicly. You may request removal through shop@soloplant.com.
4. Technical records, service providers and transfers
Your IP address, access time, device and browser information may be processed by the technical infrastructure when you access the website. Records necessary for secure operation and troubleshooting are assessed under Article 5(2)(f) of the KVKK, provided fundamental rights are not harmed; Article 5(2)(a) or (ç) may apply where there is a statutory obligation.
This corporate website uses Cloudflare runtime and database infrastructure through OpenAI Sites. Form information and blog interaction records are processed by the relevant hosting and database infrastructure to operate the service. Requests sent by email may be processed through the company’s Google email service. Sharing with legally authorised bodies is limited to obligations and protection of rights.
Cloud and email providers may have infrastructure outside Türkiye. Transfers abroad, including actual data location and remote access, are subject to the separate conditions of Article 9 of the KVKK. This notice or newsletter preference is not general permission for regular transfers abroad. When social media or shop links are opened, the relevant service’s own privacy notice also applies.
5. Your rights and requests
Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you may learn whether your data is processed; request information if it is; learn its processing purpose and whether it is used accordingly; learn recipients of domestic or overseas transfers; request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data; request deletion or destruction under statutory conditions; request notification of these actions to recipients; object to adverse results arising solely from automated analysis; and seek compensation for harm caused by unlawful processing.
You may submit requests in writing to the registered address, through registered electronic mail to soloplant@hs09.kep.tr, using a secure electronic or mobile signature, or from your previously notified email address held in the system to shop@soloplant.com. Requests are answered as soon as possible and within 30 days at the latest. Necessary, proportionate identity verification may be performed; a photocopy of an identity document is not mandatory for every request.
