Not a flower yet.
A beginning.
An orchid’s journey begins with a shoot so small it is easy to overlook. In our tissue culture laboratory, growing expertise meets careful hands.
Behind the flower you see is work you do not see.

A growing story that began in 1950.
Today, in every stage of an orchid’s life.

Our story is rooted in the growing experience that began with Tuğtekin Çiçekçilik in 1950. Developed through Cymbidium orchids, this heritage expanded into Phalaenopsis when Solo Plant was founded in Yalova in 2014.
Our name means “one plant”. Behind that plant, we see knowledge, attention and time. From a tiny shoot to a flower, we bring the same care to every stage.
Our story, then and nowA flower’s beauty may fit into a season. Learning to grow it takes years. Our story is about the experience that began in 1950, taking root again in each new era.
Names change. Our commitment to growing endures.

The experience that began with Tuğtekin Çiçekçilik in 1950 was the first chapter of our connection with ornamental plants. Greenhouse-grown orchids and Cymbidium became an important part of that heritage.
Knowing the plant, watching its development, preparing the right conditions… The attention we give to growing Phalaenopsis today is rooted in this experience, developed over many years.
For us, growing means learning anew every day.

Our story reached new horizons.
In time, the journey of our flowers reached beyond borders. Exports to Yugoslavia in 1988–1989 opened a new chapter in our growing story.
Shipments to Bulgaria, Russia, Greece and Romania in 1992–1993 broadened this experience. Growing expertise took on new meaning as our flowers reached different countries.

Founded in Yalova in 2014, Solo Plant brought its growing heritage to Phalaenopsis orchid production.
Our name, meaning “one plant”, captures the focus of this new beginning: knowing a plant’s needs closely and maintaining the same attention from its first laboratory shoot to its growth in the greenhouse.
Years of experience blossomed under a new name.

The same care, at every stage.
Facility investments that began in 2014 were completed in 2020, marking the move to full-capacity production. From tissue culture to greenhouse, this production structure opened the next chapter of our story.
We carry out laboratory, nursery and growing stages in-house, bringing human care and technology together. We manage light, water and temperature to suit the plant’s development, observing and checking each stage.
Technology creates the conditions. Care accompanies every shoot.
The experience that began in 1950 now underpins every orchid grown in Yalova. As we wait for a flower to open, we care for its entire journey.
Discover the three-year growing journey
A tiny shoot that begins in the laboratory.
A life that grows in the greenhouse and eventually blooms.
We carefully follow the development of small plants as their journey begins in the tissue culture laboratory.
In the nursery greenhouse, the plant adapts to its new environment. We create conditions that support root and leaf growth.
Moved into its growing pot, the orchid continues to develop. The flower spike, buds and finally Phalaenopsis flowers complete this stage.
The beauty you see grows with time and care.

An orchid’s journey begins with a shoot so small it is easy to overlook. In our tissue culture laboratory, growing expertise meets careful hands.
Behind the flower you see is work you do not see.

Light, water and temperature. In our glass greenhouses, technology helps us track this balance as we care for each stage of growth.
Our job is to create the right conditions for growth.

The colours and flowers of Phalaenopsis are the most visible part of a long growing journey. A small beginning eventually becomes part of a home.
The journey starts in our greenhouse. It continues in your life.
Knowledge, technology and growing expertise.
Under one roof, with the same care.
We carry out the production process from tissue culture to flowering in-house, closely following every stage.

Growing is more than waiting. It means creating the right conditions, watching for changes and paying close attention each day.
Needs change at every stage of development. Climate control systems help us monitor and adjust watering, light and temperature to meet the plant’s requirements.
In the laboratory and greenhouses, growing expertise meets human care. Observation, records and quality checks accompany each stage of production.
We value efficient use of water and energy and careful resource management. We continue to improve our growing practices with new knowledge and technologies.
