Cancellation, Returns and Withdrawal Policy

This policy explains cancellation, withdrawal, returns and defective-product requests for consumer sales within Türkiye. Order-specific delivery and price information appears in the Pre-contractual Information Form and Distance Sales Agreement. Commercial purchases are subject to separate terms.

Last updated: 12 October 2026

1. Contact and return address

Seller: Solo Plant Süs Bitkileri Üretim ve Pazarlama Limited Şirketi. Email: shop@soloplant.com. Telephone: +90 549 770 7656. Return and written-request address: Bahçelievler Mah. Bahçeli 104 Sok. No:2 Merkez / Yalova. Include the order number, relevant product and your request to help us track it. You do not have to give a reason for statutory withdrawal. Using a sample form or obtaining the seller’s prior approval is not a condition of that right.

2. Withdrawal by product type

Standard potted orchids and other standard potted plants: the general 14-day withdrawal rules apply.

Standard pots, vases, plant feed, peat and growing medium: a 14-day right of withdrawal applies unless a specific statutory exception exists.

Perishable cut flowers, fresh bouquets and arrangements containing fresh flowers: Article 15(1)(c) of the Distance Contracts Regulation applies according to their specific nature.

Products genuinely made to special requests or personal needs: Article 15(1)(b) may apply according to the actual personalisation.

Making a package from standard options or merely adding a card message does not automatically personalise the plant or independent accessories. Any exception and its reason are shown for the relevant item before payment. Article 15(1)(d) may apply, under its specific conditions, to peat, growing medium or feed mixed with other materials and inseparable by nature. Opening packaging alone is not a general ban on returns. Mixed orders are assessed item by item.

3. Withdrawal notice and period

For products with a right of withdrawal, send an email to shop@soloplant.com or written notice to the seller’s address within 14 days of delivery to the consumer or a third party designated by the consumer other than the carrier.

Such notice may be submitted in these ways. For goods delivered separately under one order, the delivery of the last item is relevant; for goods with multiple parts, the last part’s delivery is relevant. Withdrawal before delivery is also possible. Marketplace customers may use the platform’s system. Telephone support is available, but the notice must be sent in writing or on a durable medium. Without proper information, the consumer is not bound by the usual 14-day period. The extension ends one year after the ordinary period expires; if information is given within that year, a new 14-day period begins that day.

4. Cancellation of products exempt from withdrawal

A cancellation request made before preparation starts for a product exempt from withdrawal is accepted free of charge. The start of preparation may be explained with transaction records when needed. Unless separately agreed, there is no voluntary cancellation undertaking after preparation begins. This does not make statutory withdrawal for eligible products depend on preparation status or restrict rights relating to defects or non-performance.

5. Sending products back

The consumer sends the product back within 14 days of giving the withdrawal notice, except where the seller offers to collect it. The specified return carrier is DHL eCommerce. Solo Plant pays return transport costs for withdrawal returns using that carrier. If no return carrier was specified in the pre-contractual information, return transport costs are not charged to the consumer. If the specified carrier has no branch at the consumer’s location, Solo Plant arranges collection on request without extra cost. Not offering general address collection in the ordinary return process does not remove this statutory obligation. Consumers wishing to use another carrier can ask shop@soloplant.com about costs and arrangements beforehand; costs legally assigned to the seller are not transferred to the consumer. Request a return code or agreed shipping method from that address; waiting for a code does not affect the notice’s validity. Send the product and standard accessories in suitable protective packaging. Follow supplied care and transport information to protect live plants. Lack of original packaging or an invoice alone does not remove statutory rights. The consumer is not liable for changes or deterioration arising from use in accordance with instructions during the withdrawal period. Other damage claims are assessed under the specific circumstances and legal rules rather than through automatic deductions.

6. Refunds

For withdrawal after delivery, a refund is made within 14 days after handing the product to DHL eCommerce as specified in the pre-contractual information; when another carrier is used, within 14 days after Solo Plant receives the product. For withdrawal before delivery, the period is no more than 14 days after Solo Plant receives the notice. The refund is made in one payment to the credit card used for purchase, without costs or other obligations for the consumer. Under the applicable rules, the card issuer reflects the received refund in the card’s available limit in one payment. For full withdrawal, collected amounts include initial delivery costs covered by legislation. For partial withdrawal, the calculation considers the amount actually paid for returned items and the delivery share repayable by law.

Those amounts form the basis. No subsequent transaction fee, campaign penalty or price increase on remaining products is applied. A compulsory voucher or shop credit is not substituted for a credit-card refund.

7. Damaged, wrong, incomplete or defective products

Contact shop@soloplant.com about broken spikes, diseased plants, wrong species or colours, missing products or failure to meet advertised essential characteristics. To speed up review, explain the issue as soon as possible and share photographs or a report if available. A 24/48-hour notice limit, lack of photographs, opened packaging or no carrier damage report do not alone remove rights. A delivered product is not automatically presumed sound. Subject to Article 11 of Law No. 6502, the consumer may choose cancellation, a reduction proportionate to the defect, free repair not requiring excessive expense, or replacement with a defect-free equivalent if available. Statutory alternatives apply where a remedy is impossible or disproportionate. The legally responsible party pays costs required by the chosen remedy; for cancellation or reduction, the relevant amount is refunded immediately. A withdrawal exception does not remove defective-goods rights. Small natural variations do not permit changes to advertised essential characteristics. Damage from unsuitable care after delivery is assessed separately from a defect existing on delivery. Proof and limitation periods follow statutory rules; the two-year defect limitation period is not a commercial guarantee that a plant will stay alive for two years.

8. Non-delivery and weather conditions

Solo Plant follows the order’s delivery date. New ordering may be stopped because of weather, but existing orders cannot be delayed indefinitely. Necessary changes are notified on a durable medium and require explicit approval. An order not performed on time may be terminated; all payments, including delivery costs, are refunded with statutory interest within 14 days after receipt of the termination notice. In a genuine impossibility of performance, notice is given within three days and a full refund within 14 days after that notice. Lack of stock alone is not impossibility.

9. Disputes

Consumers may apply to a consumer arbitration committee within the monetary limits in force at the time of application, depending on the dispute’s value; disputes exceeding the limit or falling under a court’s jurisdiction may go to the consumer court. Cases covered by Article 73/A of Law No. 6502 require mediation before proceedings, except for statutory exceptions. The consumer retains the right to apply or sue at their place of residence and other legally competent places. This text does not establish an exclusive court or enforcement-office jurisdiction for consumers.
